Does Cecil from The Moose and the Sparrow feel anguish? if so, how please help :) thanks?

Cecil feels a lot of anguish. He was bullied everytime he worked with Moose. He felt physical pain when Moose burned his hand. He finally got so much physical and mental pain from him that he wanted revenge on Moose and killed him.
