I want to move to Florida, but I've heard terrible stories about the dreaded hover manatee?

I have lived in florida for 13 years and never once have I seen a hovering manatee. The fact that manatees don't fly is a big indicator that your information is wrong and you shouldn't believe it. By the way they are endangered species so if they do ever start to learn how to fly it would be rare that you would even see one.
