How do Young Earth Creationist Christians explain the toenails on manatees if they are not remnants of their..?

Why not have toenails? Do you think that the giraffe "evolved" its long neck to get the higher leaves? It's simply a feature that God made. Amazonian manatees do not have toenails, so explain that. What it all boils down to is faith. You nor I were there at the beginning of the universe, and scientists really cannot explain how things began. If it was the big bang then were did the material come from for that to happen? What caused things to explode? In my opinion it leads back to a loving Creator, one who designed everything with a purpose in mind.
