I have a 15 month old Rottweiler with an unknown leg injury, really need suggestions?

The fact that nothing is showing up in xrays is good.That means it is a soft tissue injury.The trouble with soft tisssue injuries is that they take the longest to heal.I would give her enteric coated aspirin ( which will not upset her stomach) and be vigilent in doing that in a timely manner each day.That should reduce any swelling and keep her on short walks each day.if you feel the need to socialize her walk to a place where you both can sit and rest where people pass by.if they seem interested in your dog give them a cookie and ask them to give it to your dog.Make the dog act politely.Keep this dog in as much as possible for any healing to take place 2-3 weeks then be very careful..Be thankful it is not a cruciate ligament.Surgery is extremely expensive to fix that.
